Terms of Service

By using Sortful ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Service Description

Sortful is an AI-powered list organizer that helps you categorize and manage items, reminders, and shared lists. The app is available on iOS with a free tier and optional paid subscription.

2. Accounts

• You must sign in with Apple or Google to use the app.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Sortful.

3. Subscriptions

• Free Tier: Includes up to 3 categories and 50 items with AI categorization.
• Sortful Pro: Unlimited categories, unlimited items, sharing, and family features.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the service
• Abuse the AI classification system or API
• Share content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights

5. AI Disclaimer

Sortful uses AI to categorize items. AI suggestions are best-effort and may not always be accurate. You can always move items to a different category manually.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of Sortful is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sortful is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from use of the app. We recommend keeping important information backed up elsewhere.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
